ZTE Sustainability Report 2025: Scope 1 and 2 Emissions Down 46% Since 2021 Driven by Renewables and Efficiency

The company cut purchased electricity consumption by 16.3% and improved comprehensive energy efficiency by 28.39% over the same period. On-site photovoltaic installations generated 39.22 million kWh annually, and the company purchased 33,700 Green Electricity Certificates covering 33.69 million kWh. ZTE invested over CNY 70 million in environmental upgrades across R&D, manufacturing, and administration. The report also highlights that ZTE's energy-efficient telecom technologies help operators globally save more than 10 billion kWh per year. The company operates three national-level green factories and deployed AI-powered supply chain systems across 20,000 partners. ZTE maintained a Low ESG Risk rating from Sustainalytics for the fourth consecutive year and aligned reporting with CSRD and ESRS standards. The results support the company's SBTi-validated 1.5°C pathway.
