Zeotech Advances Toondoon Kaolin Project and AusPozz Trial with Strong Methane Reduction Results
tradingview.comZeotech reported progress on its Toondoon kaolin project in Queensland, completing a 110-hole drilling program and advancing approvals for access infrastructure. The company also scaled up its AusPozz production trial, dispatching 800 tonnes of kaolin feedstock for commercial testing. Concrete tests using AusPozz metakaolin showed higher compressive strength than reference mixes, reaching 42 MPa after 28 days compared to 26 MPa, while maintaining workability and reducing alkali-silica reactivity risk. Separately, Zeotech's zeoteCH4 technology reduced landfill methane emissions by an average of 92% in field trials with Griffith University. Monitoring continues into August 2026 to assess durability across seasonal conditions. The company ended the quarter with $8.5 million in cash after $2.2 million in operating outflows. These developments position Zeotech in both low-carbon construction materials and methane abatement, two areas with growing demand from emissions reduction policies.
