The purity number is eye catching, but bench scale is not commercial scale. The PEA assumes selling specialty graphite into nuclear and defence markets. Those buyers qualify on consistency across lots, not one sample. Zentek has multi-kilogram quantities for testing, which is the right next step. Watch for qualification timelines.

Worth separating the two pieces. The standing offer is a procurement mechanism, not a purchase commitment. Federal departments can order against it, but there is no minimum. The graphite work is more substantive because it supports the PEA, though the NI 43-101 technical report still has to land on SEDAR+. That filing is the thing to track.

The interesting part for carbon markets is keeping more graphite processing in Ontario instead of exporting raw material.
