Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (YOFC) reported a 13.12% year on year reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity for 2025. The company cut total carbon emissions by over 86,000 tonnes, supported by its SmartCarbon tracking platform and third party verification from Bureau Veritas. Beyond carbon, YOFC decreased energy consumption intensity by 4.54% and water consumption intensity by 28.54%. The company is targeting a 50% reduction in emissions intensity by 2028 compared to 2021 levels, with a long term goal of carbon neutrality by 2055.
