Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (YOFC) reported a 13.12% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity for 2025, cutting total carbon emissions by over 86,000 tonnes. The company attributes these gains to its SmartCarbon tracking platform and improvements in manufacturing efficiency. Beyond carbon, the company reduced energy and water consumption intensity while expanding its global production footprint. YOFC is targeting a 50% reduction in emissions intensity by 2028 and full carbon neutrality by 2055.

The intensity drop is fine, but I want to see the absolute emissions trend over five years. If they are expanding into 100 countries, total emissions could still be climbing even if they are more efficient per unit. Do we have the absolute total for 2024 to compare?
