The Yangsan Carbon Neutrality Support Center, run under contract by Youngsan University, has signed agreements with four local schools to expand climate education beyond one-off classes. Beomeo Elementary, Gayang Elementary, Sasong High, and Mulgeum Donga Middle will get priority access to visiting programs, specialist instructors for environmental clubs, and support for student-led carbon neutrality campaigns. The goal is to link classroom learning with daily practice, so students move from knowing about the climate crisis to acting on it. The center is part of a wider push to support Yangsan's 2050 carbon neutrality target through cooperation between industry, academia, citizens, and local government.
