Yang Ming Marine Transport and PSA International have signed a memorandum of understanding to reduce emissions across the maritime supply chain. The partnership combines Yang Ming's EcoSea+ lower-carbon shipping service with PSA's electrified port and landside operations to help customers cut end-to-end emissions. The companies will also provide verified emissions reductions to support customers' Scope 3 reporting requirements. Yang Ming says it reduced its carbon intensity by 63.32% from 2008 levels by the end of 2025 through energy conservation and emissions reduction initiatives. PSA frames the collaboration as part of its Node to Network strategy, which integrates port and supply chain operations. The two companies aim to give cargo stakeholders a transparent sea-land pathway for meeting decarbonization targets.
