XCF Global closes renewable diesel and SAF deal with Southern Energy Renewables and DevvStream
desmoinesregister.comXCF Global has closed an all-stock business combination with Southern Energy Renewables and DevvStream. The deal creates a company that produces renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), develops biomass-to-fuels technology, and manages carbon credits and renewable fuel incentives. Southern brings a gasification pathway for lower-cost feedstocks, while DevvStream adds environmental asset monetization. The combined company will operate the New Rise Renewables Reno facility, which has nameplate capacity of 38 to 40 million gallons per year. XCF is updating its 2027 outlook to $650 to $700 million in gross product sales, $120 to $130 million in net revenue, and $70 to $75 million in EBITDA. Management also targets more than $1.4 billion in annual gross product sales by 2030. Those figures are forward-looking, not guarantees. The announcement lists unresolved disputes at the Reno facility, financing needs, and dependence on tax credits and government support as key risks. For anyone tracking renewable fuel or carbon markets, the useful takeaway is the structure: fuel production, feedstock technology, and environmental attribute revenue are now under one roof.
