Worley has secured a contract to provide front-end engineering design for the cogeneration unit at Dow's Path2Zero complex in Alberta, Canada. The project focuses on integrating post-combustion carbon capture to reduce emissions from the chemicals facility. This $11.5 billion initiative aims to decarbonize 20% of Dow's global ethylene capacity. While the project has faced delays due to market conditions, it remains a significant effort to create a net-zero ethylene cracker and derivatives site by 2030.
