South Korean climate tech startup WEJ Inc. has developed zurigo, a PPA integration platform that simplifies off-site Power Purchase Agreements for corporations pursuing carbon neutrality and RE100 goals. The platform combines a PPA calculator, matching service, and monitoring dashboard to handle economic analysis, power plant matching, and post-adoption tracking in one place. WEJ has signed long-term PPA contracts totaling about 200 GWh over 20 years with major buyers including Lotte Shopping and Shinsegae, and has secured over 32 MW of off-site PPA supply capacity. WEJ is now targeting Southeast Asian markets like Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia, where RE100 demand is growing due to global supply chain pressures. The company plans to launch IoT-based solutions for solar and energy storage control and aims to reach 1 GW of PPA supply. By focusing on private solar farms and providing an end-to-end digital platform, WEJ addresses key bottlenecks in corporate renewable energy adoption, such as data analysis, plant matching, and ongoing monitoring.
