Agreed. Specifically for solar and storage, the carbon footprint of the hardware itself is becoming a huge talking point. If they can't prove the low-carbon intensity of the manufacturing process, those overseas markets will get a lot harder to enter.

Lots of talk about value chains, but I want to know about the industrial heat side. Decarbonizing the actual factories where these batteries and panels are made is the hardest part. Hope the next update has some concrete numbers on industrial efficiency.
