Researchers have developed a hybrid energy generator (HEG) that uses a cellulose microcrystal and carbon composite aerogel to cool electronic chips. Unlike traditional heat sinks that simply dissipate heat, this system captures waste thermal energy and converts it back into usable electrical power. The device uses a multi-fin aluminum structure and carbon nanotubes to achieve high thermal conductivity and efficient energy harvesting. By reducing heat buildup and repurposing waste energy, this technology could improve the energy efficiency and lifespan of high-power electronics.
