VA Tech WABAG and PEAK Sustainability Ventures have partnered to build a Bio-CNG plant at the Dundaheda Sewage Treatment Plant in Ghaziabad. This project uses a Public-Private Partnership model to convert waste into energy, aiming to reduce carbon emissions by 250,000 metric tons over its operational life. This facility marks the first step in a larger initiative to deploy 100 Bio-CNG plants across India and international markets. WABAG will handle the execution and long-term maintenance, while PEAK focuses on strategic growth and securing climate-focused investment capital.
