Verso Energy and Trapil sign co-development deal for Dezir CO2 pipeline to supply e-SAF project in France

Verso Energy and Trapil have signed a co-development agreement for the Dezir CO2 pipeline in France. The pipeline will transport biogenic CO2 from the Biomasse Energie d'Alizay site to Verso Energy's e-SAF production facility in Petit-Couronne. The project aims to produce up to 81,000 tonnes per year of synthetic sustainable aviation fuel starting in 2030, using renewable hydrogen and captured CO2. This is one of France's first industrial scale e-SAF projects and aligns with the European ReFuelEU Aviation regulation. The 17 km private pipeline is a key piece of infrastructure for the Dezir project. Trapil brings pipeline design and engineering expertise while Verso Energy handles integration into the broader industrial project. The agreement builds on a 2024 memorandum of understanding.
