Verde Resources has signed a 10-year agreement with Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions to supply engineered biochar for cold paving applications. The deal moves Verde from technology development into commercial revenue, with test projects starting in the second half of 2026. The companies plan to share carbon credits generated from the biochar embedded in road materials, which can lock away carbon for centuries. Beyond paving, the partners are looking at sustainable building materials and international markets like Singapore. Verde is currently listed on the OTCQB and has flagged a potential Nasdaq uplisting. The deal builds on a prior collaboration and a $2 million investment from Ergon in late 2025. For anyone tracking carbon removal credits tied to construction materials, this is a concrete example of biochar moving into infrastructure supply chains.
