Green Marine and MarinaChain have launched Verdaxis, a Singapore-based digital platform designed to help the shipping industry transition to low-carbon fuels. The tool focuses on methanol, ethanol, and advanced biofuels, connecting buyers and sellers to improve price discovery and fuel availability. Beyond a marketplace, Verdaxis provides compliance tools for regulations like the EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime. By matching fuel requirements with supply windows, the platform aims to move maritime decarbonization from policy targets to actual commercial deployment.
