The geology in Brazil is a plus, but I do not see any mention of the actual pipeline distance from the ethanol plants to the storage sites. That is where the real cost and risk live. Do they have a map of the hubs yet?

Pipeline costs are a nightmare. If they are relying on depleted reservoirs, the maintenance on those old wells can eat the budget quickly. Hope they have a realistic payback period calculated.

BECCS only works at scale if there is a clear credit mechanism. Brazil has the biomass, but we need to see if the regulatory framework for permanent geological storage is actually finished or just a plan on paper.
