This project uses upcycling technology to create protein concentrates, dietary fiber, and barley syrup, reducing waste in the brewing process. Supported by a 1.1 million dollar investment from Protein Industries Canada, the initiative aims to strengthen domestic food supply chains and lower transportation emissions by repurposing agricultural byproducts into sustainable food components.
