The University of Wyoming's IMAGINE institute has released a series of films focusing on the management of invasive annual grasses like cheatgrass in Carbon and Sublette counties. These invasive species degrade the sagebrush biome, increase wildfire risks, and reduce forage for livestock and wildlife. By collaborating with landowners and government agencies, the project aims to protect native plant communities. The initiative provides land managers with scientific research and practical tools to prevent the spread of invasive grasses and restore ecosystem health.
