Agree on the battery question. Also, electric two wheelers only cut emissions if the grid they charge from is getting cleaner. Kenya has decent renewables but many African countries still run on diesel. The MOU mentions carbon reduction but doesnt specify how they will measure or verify it.

TAILG is a big manufacturer but their core market is China and Southeast Asia. Africa has different road conditions, charging infrastructure gaps, and import tariffs. The MOU is a good first step but the real test is whether they can set up local assembly and after sales service networks. Without that, adoption will stall.
