UNDO has developed a new method called SAT-C to measure carbon removal from enhanced rock weathering in dry soil conditions. By using soil core saturation and centrifugation, the process allows for continuous monitoring and verification regardless of the season or ambient moisture levels. In partnership with McLaren Racing, UNDO is also prototyping a battery-powered soil auger to speed up field sampling and reduce emissions. These advancements aim to make carbon credits from rock weathering more credible and financially viable for large-scale deployment.
