Hydrogen TE (Manston) Ltd has submitted plans for a 120 million pound facility in Kent designed to convert non-recyclable waste into low-carbon hydrogen. The plant aims to process 44,000 tonnes of waste annually, including decommissioned wind turbine blades and commercial plastics. The project expects to produce 8,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year for industrial use. To maximize resource efficiency, the process will also capture carbon dioxide for commercial application and produce inert aggregate for the construction industry.
