Trinasolar solar modules power New South Wales first green hydrogen and ammonia facility near Moree Australia
thailand-business-news.comTrinasolar has been selected to supply solar modules for the Good Earth Green Hydrogen and Ammonia project near Moree, New South Wales. The 27MW solar farm uses Trinasolar's Vertex S+ modules with n-type i-TOPCon technology and a dual-glass design for durability and low degradation. The facility is expected to produce up to 200 tonnes of green hydrogen and 4,500 tonnes of low-carbon ammonia annually, replacing imported fossil fuel-based fertilisers and reducing agricultural emissions. Construction is underway on what is described as a commercial pilot for decentralised hydrogen and fertiliser production. The project aims to demonstrate a model that could be replicated across regional Australia. Trinasolar's Edison Zhou noted the role of solar in enabling emerging green hydrogen industries, while Hiringa Energy's Joe Cumming cited the reliability of Trinasolar's n-type dual-glass technology as a key factor in module selection.
