Toyota has announced that its Tahara Plant, one of its largest production sites in Japan, has reached carbon neutrality. The facility integrated large scale wind turbines and over 1,200 solar panels to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels. Beyond renewable energy, the plant focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions within the vehicle manufacturing process. The strategy combines direct emission cuts with forest management to balance unavoidable carbon output.
