TotalEnergies merges VSB, Kyon Energy, QUADRA and offshore wind into Integrated Power Germany for low-carbon growth
renewable-energy-industry.comTotalEnergies has consolidated its German power operations under a new unit called Integrated Power Germany. The move combines VSB, Kyon Energy, QUADRA energy Sales & Origination, and TotalEnergies' offshore wind activities in the North and Baltic Seas. Alexandre Duret-Proux will lead the unit, which aims to strengthen the company's position across renewable development, battery storage, power marketing, and offshore wind. The reorganization reflects TotalEnergies' push to expand its global net electricity production to over 100 TWh per year by 2030, with roughly two-thirds from renewables. Germany is a key market for this strategy, given its large power demand and ambitious clean energy targets. By integrating these businesses, TotalEnergies hopes to deliver more reliable, competitive, and low-carbon power to German customers. For VSB, which brings over 30 years of onshore wind and solar experience, the new structure means continued local project expertise backed by TotalEnergies' financial muscle. The combined entity also includes a pipeline of more than 20 GW and operational services for over 3 GW. This consolidation is part of a broader trend of major energy firms bundling their renewable assets to reduce costs and speed up project delivery.
