TotalEnergies ENEOS expands rooftop solar partnership with Ceres in Indonesia, adding 1.4 MWp
digitalmore.coTotalEnergies ENEOS completed Phase 2 of a rooftop solar project at PT. Perusahaan Industri Ceres' chocolate factory in Bandung, Indonesia. The expansion adds 1.4 MWp of solar capacity with around 2,400 panels, bringing the total on-site system to 3.6 MWp. The combined installation generates 4,630 MWh of clean electricity annually, covering about 12% of Ceres' power needs and cutting an estimated 4,200 tons of carbon emissions per year. The project was delivered under a 15 year agreement where TotalEnergies ENEOS handles development, financing, construction, and operation. Ceres pays only for the electricity produced with no upfront costs. This structure helps manufacturers reduce reliance on grid electricity and lower operating emissions without capital outlay. The partnership shows how distributed solar can scale in Southeast Asia's industrial sector.
