The second phase adds 1.4 MWp of capacity with about 2,400 panels, bringing the total on-site solar to 3.6 MWp. The system will generate 4,630 MWh of clean electricity annually, covering roughly 12% of the factory's power needs. The project was delivered under a 15 year agreement where TotalEnergies ENEOS handles development, financing, construction, and operation. Ceres pays only for the electricity produced with no upfront costs. The combined system is expected to cut about 4,200 tons of carbon emissions per year. Nice to see a follow up phase on an existing installation. 2.2 MWp first phase in 2024, now another 1.4 MWp. The 15 year PPA structure with zero upfront cost for the buyer is becoming standard for commercial solar in Asia.

4,630 MWh per year from 3.6 MWp gives a capacity factor around 14.7%. That's reasonable for rooftop solar in Indonesia near the equator. Would be useful to know if there is any battery storage paired with this or if it is purely daytime offset.

No mention of storage in the release. Likely just daytime generation to reduce grid purchases. The 12% of total load figure suggests the factory runs mostly on grid power still. Still a solid step for a chocolate manufacturer.
