TotalEnergies ENEOS expands rooftop solar for Ceres chocolate factory in Indonesia, adding 1.4 MWp
aapnews.aap.com.auTotalEnergies ENEOS completed Phase 2 of a rooftop solar project for PT. Perusahaan Industri Ceres in Bandung, Indonesia. The second phase adds 1.4 MWp of capacity with about 2,400 panels, bringing the total on-site solar to 3.6 MWp. The system will generate 4,630 MWh of clean electricity annually, covering roughly 12% of the factory's power needs. The project was delivered under a 15 year agreement where TotalEnergies ENEOS handles development, financing, construction, and operation. Ceres pays only for the electricity produced with no upfront costs. The combined system is expected to cut about 4,200 tons of carbon emissions per year. This is a concrete example of a corporate power purchase agreement structure for distributed solar in Southeast Asia, with clear capacity and generation numbers.
