TotalEnergies ENEOS completed Phase 2 of a rooftop solar project at PT. Perusahaan Industri Ceres in Bandung, Indonesia. The extension adds 1.4 MWp of capacity with about 2,400 PV panels, bringing the total on-site solar to 3.6 MWp. The system generates 4,630 MWh of clean electricity annually, covering roughly 12% of the factory's power needs. Ceres pays only for the electricity produced under a 15 year agreement with no upfront costs, reducing both energy expenses and carbon emissions. The combined project cuts an estimated 4,200 tons of CO2 per year. TotalEnergies ENEOS develops, finances, builds, and operates the system. The joint venture between TotalEnergies and ENEOS targets 2 GW of decentralized solar capacity across Asia over five years. This deal shows how on-site corporate solar PPAs work in practice: the customer gets lower emissions and stable power costs while the developer takes the capital risk.
