TotalEnergies ENEOS adds 1.4 MWp rooftop solar at Ceres chocolate factory in Bandung, Indonesia
english.punjabkesari.comTotalEnergies ENEOS completed Phase 2 of a rooftop solar project at PT. Perusahaan Industri Ceres in Bandung, Indonesia. The new phase adds about 2,400 panels and 1.4 MWp of capacity, bringing the combined on-site solar system to 3.6 MWp. It will generate over 1,380 MWh of renewable electricity annually, raising total clean output to 4,630 MWh per year and covering roughly 12% of Ceres' power needs. The project runs under a 15-year power purchase agreement with no upfront cost to Ceres, which pays only for the electricity produced. The company estimates the combined system cuts carbon emissions by 4,200 tons per year. Phase 1 was completed in September 2024. The joint venture between TotalEnergies and ENEOS plans to develop 2 GW of decentralized solar capacity across Asia over the next five years. TotalEnergies holds nearly 36 GW of gross renewable capacity as of April 2026.
