TotalEnergies and VSB launch Integrated Power Germany for wind, solar, storage and power marketing
renewableenergymagazine.comTotalEnergies has combined its German renewable power activities under a new business unit called Integrated Power Germany. The unit brings together VSB, Kyon Energy, QUADRA energy Sales & Origination and TotalEnergies' offshore wind work in the North Sea and Baltic Sea. It will develop and operate wind and solar projects, build utility-scale battery storage, and handle direct marketing and aggregation of renewable generation. The move is meant to cover the full renewable power value chain in one business, from project development to selling electricity. VSB keeps its role in local wind and solar projects, with TotalEnergies providing financial backing and market access. TotalEnergies says it aims to reach more than 100 TWh of net electricity production by 2030, with roughly two-thirds coming from renewable sources.
