Tivano has issued its first CO2 removal certificates (CORCs) through the Dragonfly project in Namibia. The initiative uses terrestrial biomass storage to combat bush encroachment, removing invasive species and storing them underground to prevent decomposition for over 100 years. Following the Puro Standard, the project has already restored 120 hectares of land. This process removes atmospheric carbon while improving local groundwater hydrology, restoring wildlife habitats, and creating new employment opportunities for farmers in the Otjiwarongo region.
