TimberHP has received a strategic investment from FTAI Infrastructure to expand the production of wood fiber insulation at its Maine facility. The company uses residual softwood chips from logging to create a carbon-negative alternative to traditional, energy-intensive insulation materials. This funding aims to increase the availability of bio-based building materials across North America. By scaling production, TimberHP intends to replace non-renewable insulation products and reduce the overall carbon footprint of the construction industry.
