The Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) is implementing a roadmap to reach net zero emissions by 2050. A key part of this strategy involves piloting a Mobile Carbon Capture Unit (MCCU) from Canada across various cement plants in the Saraburi Sandbox to test real world industrial performance. Beyond carbon capture, the industry is adopting low carbon innovations like Limestone Calcined Clay Cement (LC3) and pursuing Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS). These efforts are supported by UNIDO and the Canadian government to improve industrial competitiveness and attract green finance.
