Tesson Holdings has agreed to buy 100% of Contemporary Huazhi New Energy Technology Hong Kong for RMB 120m, with part of the consideration paid in shares. The target operates solar-storage-charging-inspection and zero-carbon park projects in Shanghai and Fuzhou. The deal also brings in CATL co-founder Huang Shilin as a strategic shareholder. The company signed several MOUs with Inspur Group, EV Power, Wanji International, and university teams to develop AI data center integration, virtual power plants, and Hong Kong demonstration projects. Tesson says the goal is to move from battery manufacturing toward operating zero-carbon microgrids and energy-carbon assets. The press release is heavy on ecosystem language and light on project numbers. The real test is whether these MOUs turn into operating capacity and revenue, especially in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
