Terra Scales Low Carbon Cement Production with New US Facilities
sustainableconstruction-now.comTerra is expanding its low carbon building materials by constructing a full scale manufacturing plant in Texas, scheduled for mid 2027. The company uses silicate rock to create supplementary cementitious materials that integrate into existing production systems without requiring expensive infrastructure overhauls. Their current product can replace up to 50 percent of traditional Portland cement. Terra is also developing a full replacement for Portland cement and planning six additional facilities across North America to scale its emissions reduction technology.
