The facility is designed to integrate with a regional carbon capture and storage network to mitigate atmospheric emissions. The project includes the development of 30 CO2 injection wells across Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Construction is slated to begin in 2028, with a target operational date between late 2032 and early 2033 to support the PJM grid.
