Using slag to replace clinker is a proven way to drop emissions, but the real hurdle is always the building codes. If the regulators do not approve these specific BOF and EAF slags for structural use, this MoU is just paperwork.

Basically a deal to turn steel waste into cement ingredients. Good for circularity, but I want to see the actual percentage of clinker they can realistically replace without compromising strength.
