Talbros Automotive and Lohum Cleantech form JV for recovered carbon black and devulcanized rubber
scanx.tradeTalbros Automotive Components has formed a joint venture with Lohum Cleantech called Lohum Talbros CarbonTech Private Limited. The venture will focus on manufacturing and refining recovered carbon black and devulcanized rubber. Lohum holds a 51% stake with three board seats, while Talbros holds 49% with two seats. The JV became effective July 2, 2026. Recovered carbon black is a key material for lowering the carbon footprint of tires and industrial rubber products. Devulcanized rubber allows scrap rubber to be reused in new products, reducing waste. This partnership combines Lohum's cleantech recycling expertise with Talbros' automotive supply chain reach. The deal signals growing industrial interest in circular economy inputs for the automotive sector.
