B-Cabros, the parent company of clean and vegan infant cosmetics brand TAGA, has joined the UN Global Compact. The company says it will apply the initiative's 10 principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption across its management and global operations. TAGA has built its own product-level carbon calculation system and reports cumulative carbon offsets of about 618 tons, which it links to forest protection and an estimated 71,834 protected trees. The brand also holds B Corp certification, which it says is the first for an infant beauty brand in Asia. It now plans to use that sustainability data as part of a US market push.
