Syzygy Plasmonics signs SAF offtake deal with World Fuel Services for planned facilities in the Americas

Syzygy Plasmonics has signed a capacity reservation agreement with World Fuel Services to secure future offtake from its planned sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facilities in Central and South America. The deal covers a portion of output from Syzygy's NovaSAF platform, which converts biogas into SAF. The company's flagship project, NovaSAF-1 in Uruguay, is moving toward construction, and future facilities will expand capacity in the region. The agreement gives World Fuel Services early access to lower-carbon jet fuel supply as airlines face rising regulatory pressure and customer demand for SAF. For Syzygy, the offtake commitment supports investment decisions and project financing. The deal highlights growing momentum for SAF production in the Americas, where biogas feedstocks are abundant and policy support is strengthening.
