These credits are certified under Isometric's framework, which requires enclosed kiln designs and continuous emissions monitoring to ensure high verification standards. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between industrial-scale biochar and small-scale artisanal production. By using agricultural residues and invasive species in India, Varaha creates carbon removal credits that offer both environmental benefits and direct revenue for farming communities.
