Super Pollutants Explained: Methane, Black Carbon, HFCs and Near-Term Climate Action

For carbon market participants, super pollutants matter because their high warming potential means emissions reductions can generate high-value credits. Methane capture from landfills, oil and gas systems, and livestock operations is already a major source of carbon offset supply.
