pressreleasehub.pa.mediaSunwoda's Digital Battery Passport Solution was one of nine finalists in the Supply Chain & Scope 3 Decarbonisation Project of the Year category at the 2026 edie Energy & Tech Awards in London. The platform links battery value chain data across raw material sourcing, manufacturing, use and recycling into one digital record. It covers supply chain management, traceability, product carbon footprint, due diligence, passport management and operational management. The solution is aimed at the EU Battery Regulation, which will require passports for EV batteries, light means of transport batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh from February 2027. Sunwoda completed five pilots in 2025, engaged 28 suppliers in carbon management, and plans to release phase two in December 2026. The company has also worked with TÜV Rheinland and Siemens China on cross-organization data exchange.
