Emissions from its own operations fell by 22%, while value chain emissions dropped by 20%. The company also hit 53% recycled plastic content in its packaging, beating its 50% target, and cut added sugar by 33% versus 2015 levels. SBFE conducted its first nature assessment to map impacts on natural resources and partnered with Pilario to evaluate product and packaging environmental effects during development. The company aims to reduce total sugar by 40% by 2030 and have two-thirds of products under 5g of sugar per 100ml. It also donated over 1.17 million euros to charity and logged 4,500 employee volunteer hours across Europe. Looking ahead, SBFE will focus on implementing its Climate Transition Plan, accelerating action in packaging and agriculture, and building resilience amid evolving sustainability rules. The report highlights that corporate decarbonization efforts in the food and beverage sector continue to advance, with measurable results in emissions, packaging, and product reformulation.
