Suntory Beverage & Food Europe cuts carbon footprint 20% since 2019, raises recycled plastic to 53%

The 2025 Sustainability Report shows a 22% drop in emissions from its own operations and a 20% reduction across its wider value chain. The company also exceeded its recycled plastic target, reaching 53% recycled content across its portfolio, with Schweppes bottles now using 100% recycled plastic. SBFE conducted its first nature assessment to identify supply chain impacts on nature and partnered with Pilario to evaluate environmental impacts early in product development. The company reduced added sugar by 33% from a 2015 baseline and aims for a 40% reduction by 2030. CEO Pierre Decroix noted that sustainability became more essential in 2025, and the company will focus on its Climate Transition Plan, packaging, and agriculture going forward.
