Summit Carbon Solutions has updated its pipeline route in north Iowa, removing over 400 landowners from the project in counties including Worth and Mitchell. The company claims the shift simplifies the project and focuses on core infrastructure to speed up delivery. While some landowners expressed relief, the main pipeline route through Floyd County remains unchanged. The move comes amid ongoing disputes over eminent domain and the practical challenges of executing large scale carbon capture infrastructure in rural areas.
