Stephanie Duran has taken over as acting chief executive of the Asia Natural Gas and Energy Association (ANGEA) after Paul Everingham left on June 30. Duran previously served over 25 years at the U.S. Department of Energy and spent nearly a decade working in Asia. Gas as a bridge fuel is getting old. CCS is still expensive and unproven at scale. But if they can push policy for CO2 transport across borders, that could change things. Need to see actual projects.
