Agreed. But even with a perfect definition, I wonder where the actual power capacity is coming from to feed these electrolyzers. You can mandate green steel all you want, but if the grid connection takes seven years, the labels are just paperwork.

The mention of a lead market is the key part. Industrial players won't switch to expensive green hydrogen if they can't actually charge a premium for the end product. The labeling has to be bulletproof for the customers to pay more.
