State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company has officially launched the Green Energy TO brand in Hangzhou, China, a green and low-carbon initiative that includes a new Energy Efficiency Marketplace module within the Energy & Carbon Manager app. The digital platform helps enterprises improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions, with a focus on AI computing and data centers. A key early project involves the China Telecom Hangzhou Intelligent Computing Center, which saw monthly electricity consumption reach 5.44 million kWh in June 2026, a fourfold year-on-year increase. Through the platform, the center matched with a provider for a 1 MW solar system and a 5 MWh battery storage project, expected to cut annual electricity use by 8% to 12%. State Grid reports its team has already assessed 9,033 key customers and supported 3.189 billion kWh of substituted electricity consumption.
