SportsArt has released the ECO-POWR Calculator, a digital tool for gym operators to estimate how much electricity they can generate using energy-capturing cardio equipment. The tool helps facilities model energy cost offsets and support sustainability reporting for LEED initiatives. The underlying technology uses micro-inverters to convert human energy from treadmills and cycles into utility-grade electricity. This system feeds power directly back into the facility grid, reducing the net energy consumption of the building.
